Josh H. Kardisch, Esq. is the newest addition to the Pegalis Law Group team. With over 35 years of experience, he has represented plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death cases involving medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, toxic exposures, construction site accidents, and defective products at the trial and appellate levels. He has also represented individuals in complex insurance coverage, employment discrimination, hostile work environment and harassment issues.

Between 1985 and 1996, Mr. Kardisch was an Associate and a Partner at a nationally known firm, where he litigated toxic tort, premises, environmental, products liability, employment, and commercial lawsuits. He has represented companies of all sizes, ranging from small to the Fortune 500 level, in courtrooms throughout the country. In 1996, he founded his own firm, which handled personal injury litigation and appellate matters. He was also Of Counsel to a major New York City based firm, handling a wide variety of civil liability and insurance matters. Mr. Kardisch’ s varied experience gives him a unique and realistic perspective on the conflicting positions that litigation presents.

Mr. Kardisch has authored and co-authored more than 40 published articles, has lectured extensively, and has been interviewed for printed stories, television and radio in his areas of practice. He is a long-standing member of the New York State and Nassau County Bar Associations, and has served on the Speaker’s Bureau and the Labor and Employment Committee. Mr. Kardisch has also served as a judge in the Moot Court competitions at Hofstra University School of Law and Boston University School of Law, and as an instructor in Hofstra’s Trial and Deposition Skills Program.

Mr. Kardisch is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of New York and in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He has completed the National Institute of Trial Advocacy Program and holds a B.A. degree in Psychology from the City University of New York.
